Box Blur

Box Blur is a fast and easy way to create a blurring effect. Box Blur changes the color value of each pixel based on the pixels' color value next to it in a vertical and horizontal directions. It is fairly close to the look achieved using Gaussian Blur, but performs much faster. Use it when a faster rendering time is important, and the quality of the blur is of less importance. With Box Blur, you can adjust: Radius - Varies strength. The radius is measured in pixels

To use the Box Blur filter:

Choose Filters > Blur > Box Blur .
